For the passenger check-in the CSC card or CST token has to be placed to the CSC/CST reader/validator which is built-in in the turnstile. The validator will validate the card/token and then allow entry or exit.
The turnstile is based on moving flaps or tripod. Metal parts of the turnstile are made of stainless steel.
The type of the gate (i.e. the direction of the passengers dispatch) is signalised by visual symbol (end display – a green arrow or a red cross or another customer defined symbol) on the turnstile’s leg and semaphore (a green or a red or other defined colour). The functionality of semaphore can be doubled by concession lamp placed on the top of upper door
